On a recent trip to Jacksonville, Florida, I had the pleasure of meeting your mother. I was flying back home to Michigan and shared the seat next to "Peaches". As I'm sure you're aware...your mother is quite a special woman and I am compelled to share our flight with you....
Some travelers can be social, others not. I often consider myself a very social person but have always been a little uneasy talking with elders. I suppose the generation gap has something to do with that. So when I took my seat next to your mom I was feeling a little awkward and decided to catch up on some magazines. I was fortunate enough to snag the window seat and couldn't help but notice that Peaches was craning her head, trying to see outside the small opening. Whenever I would look her way I was always greeted with a smile and it didn't take long for her to start a conversation. And she proceeded to tell me all about her life. Frankly, I don't think there was much I didn't know about her and her family when our flight ended.
I can't recall how long that flight was, but I can assure you that the time we spent together is a cherished moment in my life. Peaches is truly a delight and an inspiration. Please tell her hello and thank you for sharing her stories with me!
